Group Life

You weren’t meant to do life alone.

We’re better together.

ABOUT

A Community Group is a gospel community where people can feel welcome and accepted (BELONG), encounter Christ and His Word (BELIEVE), and make disciples and group multipliers (BECOME). Groups spend time learning from God’s Word, praying, and encouraging one another while addressing real-life challenges, as well as doing things together outside the group to serve and build deeper relationships. Groups generally tend to be based on life stage demographics and meet in various locations around our campuses and throughout the week. Join a group today!

FIND A GROUP

One of the best ways to join a Community Group is by attending Experiencing PV, a 7-week introduction to our core values, designed specifically to help you connect in a group and find a place to serve. You can search an online listing of open groups–groups that are actively looking for new people to join them.  Use the following link to view a list and see a little bit about each group.  Keep in mind, you may want to visit more than one group before you find the right one, and that’s okay!

LEAD A GROUP

We believe that life change happens best in circles, not rows. This is because God has designed us to be in relationship with Him and with others. When we gather in smaller groups where we can be real with ourselves, God, and others, we begin to experience what it means to thrive in our relationship with God. This is why our Community Groups exist. These groups are gospel communities where people are welcome and accepted (BELONG), can encounter Jesus and His Word (BELIEVE), and become who God designed them to be (BECOME). The reality is that there are many people who are desperate for a group like this, but they don’t know where to find it. Most likely, you have several friends who would greatly benefit from a community like this. At Pleasant Valley, we want to help you create this life-changing community for you and your friends. We provide resources for all our leaders that remove the intimidation from leading. If you are interested in potentially starting a group with your friends, fill out this form and our staff would love to talk more about what it would look like.
