PV Kids

At Pleasant Valley, we think it’s pretty great when kids encounter Jesus and discover his love for them. We intentionally partner with parents to teach kids about God and love seeing kids develop into young followers of Jesus.

We’ve designed our programs so that kids can have fun with others their age while also learning Bible stories and participating in age-appropriate music and games led by committed, loving church volunteers.

Ministry Environments

PV Kids is for kids ranging from birth to 5th grade. Within PV Kids ministry, we divide kids into different areas based on their age ranges. Click below for more information on each ministry area.

New to PV?

If you're planning to visit PV for the first time, look for the New Families Check-In in the Commons, immediately inside the East entrance doors. We'll get a bit of information about you and your child so we can be sure to serve you in the best way possible. Once your family is checked in, one of our ministry partners will be happy to show you the age appropriate room we have created for your child.

You and your child will be given matching identification tags that are exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will need to wear the name tag portion of your matching identification tags which bears a code that is matched to your portion during checkout at the end of the service. During checkout, you will return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

Safety

Your child's safety is important to us, so we have Safety Team members all around the building, and when you drop off and pick up your child, we’ll make sure the numbers on your pager and your child’s sticker match before admitting or dismissing them to or from class.

Should you ever have questions, any member of our staff or our ministry partners will be happy to help you! Also, if you have questions about PVKids before attending a service, you can always contact any of the PV Kids staff to find answers to those questions.
