City Union Mission

Liberty Women's Clinic

The Liberty Women’s Clinic ministers with the love of Christ to the practical, emotional, and spiritual needs of women, their partners, and parents who face the trauma of an unplanned pregnancy.   • Clinic Volunteers:  Help with clients, data entry, mailings and other special projects.  Weekly or every other week commitment.
  • Table Host for Annual Banquet on April 13th.  Invite 8-9 friends to join you at this annual event.  You and your friends will hear more about the ministry of LWC and the vision God has for this very important outreach.

 


 

Winwood Elementary (North Kansas City)

Freedom Fire Urban Ministries

Feed Northland Kids 

Feed Northland Kids, in partnership with Harvesters – The Community Food Network, work hard to provide kids with backpacks full of food that keeps them going. Urban Christian Academy

  • Suppyling goods for “school store” including candy, gum, earbuds, gift cards, etc.  (purchased with “money” earned for good behavior, achieving goals, etc.)
  • Supplying items for “family closet” supplying personal care items (toothpaste, paper products, etc.)
  • Adult Mentors for students
  • Hosting special events at the school for teachers and staff
